Save Face With Our New Protective Face Mask For Sports

Innovative heavy-duty carbon fibre sports mask made using 3D scanning and printing technologies

If you have suffered a facial fracture, you will already be well aware of the dangers of participating in contact sports before the injury has fully healed. However, our new custom-made protective face mask for sports could change all that, enabling you to return to your favourite activities quickly, safely and without worry.

How Our Sports Face Mask Works

The first of its kind in the UK, this innovative protective sports mask is made to an exact scan of the face using 3D scanners and printers. Unlike its off-the-shelf counterparts, which do little to protect the face and can actually cause more harm than good, it is designed to transfer impact to the surrounding surfaces, providing effective protection and support for facial injuries of all kinds.

Our strong but lightweight carbon fibre mask has an unparalleled strength-to-volume ratio and is reinforced with Kevlar, a synthetic fibre used in the production of tyres, to give superior tensile strength. A low-profile lining and flexible strapping provide cushioning and further support to maximise comfort during long hours of practice and play.

Unlike existing plastic, one-size-fits-all models, our protective face mask for sports has a sleek, modern profile and can even be customised with the bespoke paint option of your choice.

We have 3D scanners in all twelve of our sports injury clinics, making the service easily accessible to patients throughout England and much of Scotland and Wales. With just one appointment needed for the scan and another for fitting, we are also well placed to take enquiries from further afield and have already received much interest from overseas.
