Medi M.4 Ligament Brace Range:

Indications

  • ACL or PCL rupture, in isolation or with secondary injuries (collateral ligament and/or meniscus lesion),
  • severe instability
  • complex rupture of the collateral ligament and/or partial cruciate rupture or overstretch
  • severe collateral ligament instability with meniscus lesion
  • cruciate ligament reconstruction/repair (ACL or PCL rupture, in isolation or with secondary injuries)
  • meniscus refixation in pre-existing instability of the knee joint

M.4®s OA Knee Brace:

4-point knee orthosis for control of anterior and posterior tibial translation. 3-point off-loader for varus or valgus pressure relief.

Indications

  • conservative treatment of complex ligament instability, particularly in combination with unilateral osteoarthritis
  • conservative treatment of advanced unilateral osteoarthritis
  • post-operative pressure relief and compartmental protection after fractures of the tibial head,cartilage surgery, meniscus refixation, correction osteotomy
  • instability of the cruciate ligaments with pressure relief of the medial or lateral compartment
  • for functional pre or post-operative care of knee instabilities

M.4 AGR Knee Brace:

Functional brace for genu recurvatum and knee hyper-extension pathologies.

AGR has a progressive dampening mechanism that decelerates the knee joint movement during the extension phase of gait. This lessens the impact on the posterior capsule and facilitates the prevention of further injury and aids natural gait.

A unique combination of medi’s patented physioglide hinge which mimics the natural roll and glide of the knee, and different density stops provides a bespoke solution to aid individual patients’ biomechanics. At 30 degrees extension the absorption system is mechanically initiated and the decrease in extension velocity commences.
